2016 Spring Orientation Takes Place on March 2nd

On March 2nd, School of Finance and Business held the orientation to welcome new students from France, Germany and Mexico, diversely from PSB Paris, INSEEC Paris, University of Lunerburg, University of Landshut and University of Panamericana.

Dean MAO dressed the opening speech at the meeting. He warmly welcomed new coming students and encouraged them to join Chinese students’ school life on the base of understanding different cultures. Dean Mao said he was very impressed and appreciated these students’ courage for choosing China as their study abroad destination. He hopes students learn the skill of intercultural communication and trust the City of Shanghai will open her arms to embrace our young ambassadors from our partner universities.

Claire TANG, the director of International Affairs at SFB, Jessie DUAN, the Manager for Academic Affairs at SFB, Anny Du and Max GU, the two coordinators assisting the international student program all presented the meeting. 5 Chinese volunteers students took their new friends for a campus tour and had lunch altogether.

 
The new coming international students are very excited and looking forward to a brand new but challenging school like in Shanghai Normal University.
