Brad Lucas Roghaar, a poet and also an emeritus professor from Weber State University in America, who has taught literature and creative writing for about 28 years. He also served “Weber Studies: voices and viewpoints of the contemporary west” for 7 years as a chief editor. After his retirement, Prof.Roghaar also holds the post of a subeditor and consultant.
On May 13th, 2016, Shanghai Normal University invited
Professor Brad Lucas Roghaar to give a speech for teachers and students about Contemporary Poetry Reading of his Original Work. Prof. Roghaar will introduced the main methods and the source of the spirit of his creative writing. He aims to let audience know about the traditional meaning and future of American Contemporary poems. Welcome all teachers and students who are interested in poems come to listen.
We can find Brad’s poem from many periodicals and magazines. His works also were published by “ Best Poets Poetry anthology in Utah ”. His first work “Unraveling the Knot: Poems of Connection” won the reward from PEARLE M. OLSEN, and was honored with “The Best Poet of the Year”. He was also usually invited to give speeches and attend the public activities.
