Personal Profile:

Assoc. Prof. ZHANG Chunli, a native of Naiman Banner, Inner Mongolia, Ph.D. in Engineering, current Secretary of CPC SFB Committee.

In October 1992, Assoc. Prof. ZHANG joined CPC. In November 1999, Assoc. Prof. ZHANG graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) with a doctorate degree in engineering, specializing in mechanical engineering and automation. Since December 1999, she has been teaching as a faculty member at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of SHNU. She has served as Associate Dean of SHNU College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SHNU College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Director of SHNU Talent Office, Secretary of the Party Committee of SHNU College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and other positions. Since November 2023, Assoc. Prof. ZHANG starts to serve as Secretary of CPC SFB Committee. For in-service trainings and exchanges, during June to December 2006, Assoc. Prof. ZHANG visited the University of Dayton (Ohio, USA) as a senior visiting scholar; during October to December 2010, she attended the Training Class for Young and Middle-Aged Cadres Held by Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Work Committee; during 2012-2013, she visited Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) as a visiting scholar; in the second half of 2018, she took the temporary post as Deputy Director of Human Resources Department at Soochow University (Suzhou); in July 2021, she attended the Class of Philosophy and Social Sciences Held by Shanghai Party Institute of CPC.

Assoc. Prof. ZHANG's main research areas include computer-aided design (CAD), mechanical design and manufacturing, party building in colleges and universities, etc. She has 40+ articles published, has obtained 6 authorized patents, and has presided over and participated in multiple research projects. In 2008, Assoc. Prof. ZHANG was awarded the title of 'Excellent Junior Faculty of Shanghai'.
